ASL Interpreted Services at Joy Church in Bend, Oregon

Joy Church holds two Sunday services each week at 9am and 10:30am. An ASL interpreter is available at the 10:30am service.

Joy Church provides ASL interpretation every Sunday at our 10:30 am service. Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors are welcome here, and we want you to be able to follow all of it, the worship, the message, and the announcements.

Our goal is to create an accessible environment where everyone can connect with Jesus, experience community, and participate fully in the life of our church.

Where do I sit for the ASL interpreted service?

Our interpreter stands at the front left of the stage. We keep seating reserved nearby with a clear view. Come 10 to 15 minutes early, and anyone on our team at the door will show you where it is.

Is ASL interpretation available every Sunday at Joy Church?

Yes, we have interpreters available every Sunday during the 10:30am service.

What does a Sunday look like?

The service runs about 65 minutes. It has worship music and a message from one of our pastors. Both are interpreted.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. Most people dress casually, and there is no dress code.

Where is Joy Church located in Bend, Oregon?

Joy Church is located at 19831 Rocking Horse Rd, Bend, OR 97702, on a 10-acre property in south Bend. We're easily accessible from Sunriver, La Pine, Redmond, and Bend.

Does Joy Church have programs for kids during the service?

Joy Kids classes are not interpreted at this time. If you have Deaf children, contact us before you visit. We will talk with you about what we can arrange.

If you are a Deaf parent bringing hearing children, our Joy Kids team will make check-in easy. Tell any volunteer at the check-in desk, and they will help get your kids checked in.

Does Joy Church have programs for youth?

Joy Youth is our Wednesday evening group for 6th - 12th grade students that meets weekly from 6pm-8pm. We do not currently have it interpreted.
