What to Expect on a Sunday
A Sunday service at Joy Church lasts about 65 minutes and includes worship music, a Bible-based teaching from one of our pastors, and time to connect with others. Our worship is sincere and engaging, followed by a teaching from Pastor Ben Miller or another teacher from our team.
We keep things real, warm, and rooted in Scripture. There's no pressure to give, sing, stand, or do anything you're not comfortable with. We just want you to feel at home.
Visiting with Kids?
Bringing kids? Joy Kids is one of the most loved parts of our Sunday mornings. We have engaging, safe programs for children from birth through 5th grade, grouped by age:
Nursery - birth to 2 years
Preschool & Kindergarten - 3 years through kindergarten
Elementary - 1st through 5th grade
First-time families check in at our welcome station, where our team will help you register and provide matching security stickers for you and your child so you can relax during service knowing your kids are safe and having fun.
Joy Youth meets separately on Wednesday evenings, 6pm-8pm, for students in 6th–12th grade.
Parking & Arrival
Our 10-acre campus at 19831 Rocking Horse Rd is easy to find from anywhere in Bend, Sunriver, Redmond, or La Pine. Parking is plentiful and free. Pull into the main lot at the front of the building, and you'll be greeted by our team, who can help you find your way.
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before service starts. That gives you time to grab coffee, get the kids checked in at Joy Kids, and find a seat without feeling rushed.
